Park Royal Data Centre
A new data centre on a former industrial site at Acton Lane, Park Royal.
Project overview
Kao Data is at the very early stage of developing proposals for a new data centre on the former Frogmore Industrial Site on Acton Lane, Park Royal. While our plans for the Frogmore site are at an early stage, we anticipate that three planning applications will come forward as part of our proposals:
Application 1
An application to demolish the existing buildings on the site.
Application 2
An application for enabling works to support delivery.
Application 3
A full planning application for the data centre development.
Further details on our proposals will be made available shortly.

Who is Kao Data?
Kao Data is a UK founded and operated company, who designs, builds and operates data centres that support the crucial digital services that UK residents and businesses rely on every day. Our data centres around London are currently supporting biological research, drug discovery and online banking, amongst other important areas.
As a company, we are proud of both our track record of designing, building and operating some of the world’s most sustainable data centres, and of delivering award-winning community support programmes – like the Kao SEED Fund, in the areas directly around our facilities. Our work also includes helping older generations learn and adapt to new technology, smart devices and AI.
We also understand that data centres need to provide long-term benefit, and in locations like Harlow, Slough and Stockport we have worked with local schools and colleges around our sites to help educate young people about our future with AI, help fund training for apprentices, and even supporting the changing of curriculum to help prepare college leavers for a career in data centres and digital infrastructure.
